My Top 3 Favorite Video Games of All Time…At the Moment…
(#3) Grand Theft Auto V
The Grand Theft Auto series has a long history of being an over-the-top, violence filled, crazy experience – and Rockstar’s newest installment is no exception. I’ll try to keep these descriptions as short as possible, but there’s so much to experience in GTA:V it’s hard to sum it up into a single paragraph. From it’s beautiful scenery, to it’s interesting three anti-hero protagonists, to it’s actually interesting storyline – GTA:V is a must play for anyone wanting a fantastic experience.
(#2) Bioshock
Bioshock’s amazing storyline, combined with the mysterious underwater city of Rapture, makes for a truly fantastic experience. The game follows an unnamed protagonist, who’s past isn’t really known until the story begins to unfold. Bioshock brings together a dark and twisted story and turns it into a masterpiece.
(#1) Fallout 3
Fallout 3 is the best game I have ever experienced. I’m a sucker for a good RPG, and Fallout 3 is definitely one of the best. Fallout 3 takes place in the Washington D.C. in 2277 after a nuclear bomb had been dropped on the United States. The character you’ve created, known as the “Lone Wanderer”, has never stepped foot outside of your home, Vault 101… until today. Fallout 3 combines great RPG elements, with a hostile rugged environment, to create one of the greatest games of the decade.
Question: If Aliens landed on Earth today , who would you want to repersent the human race?
After playing way to much Mass Effect in the past 24 hours, I’ve been wondering about the age-old demand aliens always seem to have – “take us to your leader.” When we hear “leader”, we usually think about the President of the United States, or some other powerful political figure.
So, here’s my question… If aliens landed on Earth today, what sole individual would you want to represent the human race? This doesn’t necessarily mean our so-called “leader”, but who would be an interesting person that would help describe our species as a whole?

New Beginnings
Life is always filled with new beginnings, most of which will never see an end, just a continuatioin of where the last one left off – sort of like the ending of a chapter in a book. Right now I’m a junior at a somewhat small high school in Alabama. If you told me three years ago that I would be sitting in this very desk, in a new school, in a new town, with new people, new friends, new teachers, and new experiences I wouldn’t have believed you. I had a good childhood, with loving parents and family members, so there was no need to think about how life could be different. Now that it is different – now that a new chapter in my life has opened up, I can honestly say that my life is most definitely changed for the better. After experiencing new exciting things and meeting some of the most amazing people I’ve ever seen in my life, I can’t wait to see what life has in store for all of us next. As this chapter of our lives grows closer to the ending, here’s to not the chapter ending – but to new beginnings.
